Ready to Find Out What Your Case is Worth?
Layman Law Firm, a Washington and North Idaho law firm, was founded by John G. Layman, who has been practicing law for more than 50 years and was rated as one of the best trial lawyers in America. In addition to practicing law, he was President of Farmers and Merchants Bank in Spokane, Washington for 30 years.
Because of John G. Layman’s commitment to litigation and banking, we have two primary areas of practice: litigation, representing victims of serious personal injuries and representing clients in complex business oriented litigation- and transactional work, assisting clients with business, banking and commercial matters. Our clients range from individuals to banks and real estate development companies.
The attorneys of Layman Law Firm who are involved with each area are eminently qualified and strive to maintain a high level of competency. Among our attorneys are two of Washington’s “Super Lawyers”, the holder of a specialty designation in aquatic injuries, a Chartered Financial Analyst (“CFA”), two MBAs, and a former bankruptcy court clerk. Several also had impressive business careers before practicing law.
The firm maintains Martindale-Hubbell’s highest rating, an “AV” rating.
Ethics and Integrity
After our attorneys and hard-working staff, the most valuable assets we have at Layman Law Firm are our ethics and integrity. Clients know they can trust us. The judges, other attorneys, business and professional people, and others we deal with day after day know we are honest, dependable, keep our word, and take practicing law seriously.
Devotion to Our Clients
At Layman Law Firm, we are devoted to our clients and enjoy good, ongoing relationships with them. Some of our clients, in fact, are second and third generation clients. Whether we are serving a new client or someone with whom we have worked for decades, our level of advocacy is unwavering.
