Settlement for $8.35 Million for medical malpractice and construction negligence involving failure to take proper protective measures during construction and negligent maintenance of airhandling (HVAC) system of hospital resulting in seeding of aspergillus fumigatus into brain and spinal canal of minor patient resulting in permanent injuries and disability.

Settlement for $6.75 Million in a professional negligence claim against lawfirm and public accounting firm in which lawfirm and accounting firm represented both sides of a commercial transaction without disclosing conflicts of interest, obtaining waivers, and failure to disclose information about the financial liabilities of the acquired company.

Settlement for $3,400,000 concerning wrongful death action against employer of commercial trucker at fault. Plaintiff was ejected in the collision and killed. Recovery on behalf of decedent’s widow and minor child for wrongful death.

Settlement in excess of $3,100,000 involving claim against school district for violation of Americans with Disabilities Act, Washington Law Against Discrimination, and common law claims for school district’s failure to accommodate Plaintiff’s disabilities. Plaintiff suffered from Multiple Sclerosis and heat sensitivity. The school district failed to accommodate Plaintiff’s disabilities by providing an air conditioned classroom.

Settlement in excess of $3,000,000 with health care facility and doctor for failure to diagnose treatable melanoma when patient presented with a mole. Doctor failed to examine the biopsy slide of the removed mole. If properly diagnosed, the patient had a very good chance of full recovery.

Recovery in excess of $2,500,000 in product liability and personal injury action by personal representative against manufacturers of iron grating and construction firm that negligently installed metal walkway. A metal grating on a walkway gave way and a worker fell into a vat of boiling water sustaining burns to 95% of his body. The worker eventually died as a result of his injuries.

1.6 Million Trial Verdict for professional negligence claim against consulting engineers for negligent design of an interim resolution to a problem which was to be cured via overall upgrade of sewage treatment facility. As a result of the negligence of engineers, an explosion occurred which resulted in significant personal injuries to our clients.

Settlment for $750,000 involving medical malpractice where medical provider failed to promptly treat patient's severe spinal cord impingement that was visible on MRI. The patient suffered permanent injuries including "Cauda-Equina Syndrome" resulting in permanent foot drop.

Settlement for $650,000 for medical malpractice involving delayed diagnosis of colon cancer.

Settlement for $610,000 involving premises liability and product liability action against manufacturer and owner of an enclosed garbage area. While working, Plaintiff was taking the trash to the dumpster located on the premises. He was struck in the back of his head by a metal gate that swung both inwards and outwards. Plaintiff suffered a closed head injury.

Settlement for $500,000 of personal injury action against city for negligence of city official instructing Plaintiff to cut into a live electrical conduit. Plaintiff suffered severe electrocution suffered injuries including back and neck pain, left foot pain, decreased memory, speech and language difficulties, fatigue, difficulty maintaining balance, sleep disorder and nightmares.

Product liability action against manufacturer of saw for negligently designing saw to enable guard to be removed. The saw manufacturer also failed to warn of dangers regarding removing the guard to warn users that a guard was provided. Jury verdict in favor of plaintiff for amount over $500,000. Plaintiff was found 80% liable and verdict reduced to $103,998.

Settlement for $350,000 for claim against a municipal corporation for wrongful termination of employment.

Bad faith claim against Plaintiff’s insurer for refusing to pay pursuant to Plaintiff’s Uninsured Motorist Policy. Settlement in favor of Plaintiff for policy limits of $300,000.

Settlement for $299,000 on a Breach of contract claim on behalf of client for failure to market and maintain a product resulting in a loss of commissions and future income.

Personal injury action against driver of tractor trailer that improperly changed lanes striking vehicle in which plaintiff was a passenger. Plaintiff suffered permanent back and shoulder injuries as well as closed head injury. Plaintiff verdict for $260,000.

Settlement for $175,000 on a Product liability claim against manufacturer of an angle grinder for hand injuries arising from defective design of switch.

Settlement for $125,000 of personal injury action against driver of motor vehicle that struck plaintiff’s vehicle from rear. Plaintiff suffered neck and back injuries and a closed head injury.

Settlement for $115,000. Plaintiff was struck in face by batted softball causing serious facial damage which required surgery. Product liability action against bat manufacturer for producing a softball bat that produced dangerous batted ball speeds.
